The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway

Keighley Station is the start of your journey on the keighley & Worth Valley Railway,It is a delightful branchline which boasts a Museum of Rail Travel, Locomotive and Carriage Museums, Britains Smallest Station and Picnic and Vantage points for viewing and Photography.Not forgetting the Railway Children was also filmed here, a must for the enthusiast.

Departing Keighley starts with a 1 in 58 gradient and you continue to climb all the way to the first station,Ingrow West.

Situated at the end of the well landscaped cobbled yard at Ingrow West is The Museum of Rail Travel and is well worth a visit,There is also a souvenir shop.

Keighley station is a lovingly restored 1950's period station.The station has a picnic area and viewing area looking over both platforms and Turntable.

Ingrow West is also the home of The Ingrow Loco museum.If you are lucky to be there at the right time there is also the chance of watching work in progress being carried out. 

Hot drinks and snacks are available,and you have the opportunity to purchase a souvenir of your visit from the gift kiosk.
